Pannone Paul referred to this in a post on Wed E News

I was alerted to this story by several readers - thank you all! - Recently, I could definitely inspire a debate here. We bloggers wedding often push one that-look-for-less mentality because, hey, why should a bride without a big budget wedding come to look and feel beautiful bridesmaid dress show on her wedding day? In fact, there are plenty of wedding gowns, accessories, floral arrangements, etc, that can actually be had for less. There are those who can not - but I could see how the wedding vendors may feel pressured not to charge more, because many brides, empowered by us wedding bloggers are insisting on getting the biggest bang possible for your dollars.

Pannone Paul referred to this in a post on Wed E News:

The effects of information provided to consumers by so-called experts like to be affecting the ability of the owner of the company, or the inability to keep pace with rising costs of operation. Struggling consumers are empowered by the information they appeased the  cocktail dresses views expressed by the authorities perceived that somehow confirms that traders should not be allowed to make a profit for their hard work and efforts.

Some are said to be at war by the statements and comparisons made by a representative of The Knot. Anja Winikka, editor of TheKnot.com, appeared on the popular program TODAY and compared several wedding items including cheap & wholesale wedding dresses ranging from $ 5.000 to $ 600. But it was his contention that a cheaper center piece with the same palette of colors can be had for "less than one hundred dollars."
